Recorded from https://getjson.de on 2026-10-27 with no key. Long text is cut and ends in " …".

  • The provider is x-fxtwitter: getJSON reads the post through FxTwitter, then through the X embed endpoint when FxTwitter fails.
  • Both routes are community or unofficial paths and can stop working without notice.
  • A post ID, an x.com link and a twitter.com link all work.
  • 20 reads a minute per IP without a key, 100 with a key.
03

With a schema

curl -G https://getjson.de/https://x.com/jack/status/20 --data-urlencode 'schema={"type":"object","properties":{"author":{"type":"string"},"text":{"type":"string"},"likes":{"type":"integer"}},"required":["author","text","likes"]}'
{
  "result": {
    "text": "just setting up my twttr",
    "likes": 311267,
    "author": "jack (@jack)"
  }
}

Recorded from https://getjson.de on 2026-10-27 with no key. Long text is cut and ends in " …". Only result is shown; source and content are the same as in the read above. Without a key a network has 3 schema calls a day.

Over MCP

The MCP tool read needs no key. Connect, then call it:

claude mcp add --transport http getjson https://getjson.de/mcp
{
  "name": "read",
  "arguments": {
    "url": "https://x.com/jack/status/20"
  }
}

The tool answers with the same envelope as text.
